Where The Fence Is Low By Lights
Lights Poxleitner, better known as just Lights, released her second album this month. Her debut, The Listening was not one of my favorites. To be honest, I really didn’t find the album decent at all and couldn’t find anything to be great about Lights other than her looks. Then, on October 4th, Lights released the album Siberia. This time around, Lights creates an overall good album. The production great and her vocals are almost as attractive as the young lady herself, no auto tune crap and glossy production to cover up the actual musicianship she does indeed posses. The album isn’t flawless, however, Lights takes us on a dreamy electro-pop journey. A journey that shows us the growth and musicianship that will have Siberia coming through your speakers for quite some time.
